Our Why

We began our soap journey from a desire to bring a little bit of joy and happiness to other's lives each day.   I decided that skin care products were the perfect solution to make anyone feel pampered each and every day. 

Let's be honest, our days are long, stressful, and we handle a LOT of moments in the day that just make us really aggravated or as I like to say angervated.  Why not  start your day by enjoying the rich lather that only natural oils and butters that a handmade soap bar can pamper you with?  At the end of your day, toss a hand pressed bath bomb into your tub.  Make a choice to use a bath bomb that has been thoughtfully crafted to renew your skin with the natural ingredients and oils such as rice bran or avocado, and to refresh your soul and spirit.  

I chose this skin care journey to be more than a soap maker, my goal is for you to be able to pamper yourself everyday.

Meet the Maker

Leah Meyers of Daisy Farmhouse Soaps

First question I am always asked, "Is your name Daisy?"  The answer is...nope my name is Leah.  I'll tell you about Daisy in a little bit.  I am happiest when I am with my husband and best friend, Buddy and our fur babies.  I love coffee and ice cream...not a day goes by that I don't try to enjoy both.  I have a serious cow addiction.  It is so bad that my husband knows a perfect day for me is to drive through upstate New York looking for dairy farms so I can aww and proclaim how cute all the cows are.  When we are not driving around looking at dairy farms, we love to hike the many trails through out the Catskills with our dogs.  I believe that each days is a gift from our Creator.  I also believe the quote from Maya Angelou: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel."

Meet the Real Daisy 

The face behind the Daisy in Daisy Farmhouse Soaps.  Daisy is our "special needs dog."  She has swallowing issues and suffers from a disease called Addison's disease.  She eats from a special chair in an upright position and receives numerous medications.  She has defied the odds in so many ways.  She has a terrier's heart but is also so sweet and loves to do snuggles in your lap.  She is my heart dog.
